Koharu is the girl that Miroku met when she was eleven years old. Miroku had asked her even then if she would bear his child. And she agreed, but then left.
Later, when she's fourteen, Miroku and the InuYasha Gang meet her again. Kanna uses Koharu as a means to attack the InuYasha Gang when they stay with her for a night. Miroku obviously has no intentions towards her now that he's mooning over Sango, but he still cares about Koharu. The InuYasha Gang saves the poor girl, and they leave the next day, with poor Koharu thinking that Miroku will be back for her someday in order to bear his children. |
